Swiss champions BSC Chargers Baselland progressed in the round of 16 of the Euro Winners Cup after topping Group H. The last group match was not an easy ride and the Swiss champions faced the grit of the Hungarian side ESC Gyongyos who tried their best to pull off an upset.

Rafinha was the star of the match for the Swiss as he scored a hat-trick of goals, the last of these being the winning goals in the third phase.

The first period was evenly contested with both teams failing to break the deadlock. However, in the second phase the Chargers came super charged with all guns blazing and took a three goal lead. But the Gyongyos did not take it sitting and Bruno with his two goals nearly completed a comeback leveling the tie at 3-3 with 5 minutes in the game only for Rafinha to take home the spoils and consolidate the chargers top position in the group. The Chargers will next face Melistar who finished second in Group B in their bid to reach to quarter finals.
