His team would win 15, lose 11 & draw 12 from the competition to finish sixth in the team table and qualify for the UEFA Cup first round. Sevilla Fútbol Club would score 56 goals while they concede 42 goals in the tournament edition.

Former PSV Eindhoven Footballer Romário de Souza Faria would go on to score 30 goals for 1899 founded Futbol Club Barcelona during the 1993-94 tournament. His team would win the tournament edition winning 25, losing 7 and drawing 6 matches in the season. Barcelona would score 91 goals in the tournament edition, while they would concede 42 goals in the tournament edition.
