David Willey is an English cricketer, who plays for the England National Cricket team since 2015. He represents the Yorkshire County Cricket Club at domestic level and plays as a skilled all-rounder in both teams.
Willey is a left-handed middle-order batsman and bowls in the left-armed medium-fast pattern. He is the son of a former England cricketer and international umpire Peter Willey. Bing the son of a cricketer, he has got the ideal cricketer background and perfect training session since the beginning of his career.
He used to play for the Northamptonshire team in domestic cricket and played in Under-19 World Cup tournament as well. Before getting selected for the national team, David Willey was enlisted for the England U-19 test squad in early 2015.
After this, he has made his international debut in world cricket through an ODI match in the same following year. He has been playing for the national team since then in shorter formats and successfully named in the England team for 2019 Cricket World Cup.
