Profile | Junaid Khan is a Pakistani International cricketer, who plays for the national cricket team of Pakistan since 2011. He has played for all formats of the game at the beginning, but later, restricted himself only in the ODI format. He used to play for the Lancashire County Cricket Club in English domestic circuit of the game. He began to play cricket professionally at the age of 17 and made his first ever domestic debut in first-class cricket for Abbottabad. Then, he has played a few significant matches in domestic circuit for List-A cricket and first-class cricket for a couple of years. His impressing performance in this meadow gave him a straight entry in the national cricket team of Pakistan in 2011. In this year, he was enlisted for the world cup 2011 squad but didn’t get a chance to play in that tournament. Junaid Khan made his international debut through an ODI match against West Indies and has appeared in the rest two formats of the game consecutively in the same following year. Junaid Khan is a left-armed fast bowler and could bowl with a speed of 140-142/kph. He knows how to bowl a Yorker precisely, how to use swing along with seam and how to swing the bowl into as well as away from batsmen perfectly. He is also known for his immaculate release point of a bowl with the perfect flex of the wrist. This skilled pacer of Pakistan comparatively has a massive success rate in test format than the other two formats of cricket.
