He appears in all formats of the game and represents Federal Areas in domestic cricket. Mohammad Amir is a left-armed fast-medium pacer, who occasionally bats as a left-handed lower-order batsman. He got his initial professional training of cricket at the age of 11 from Rawalpindi Sports Academy. After getting proper training of cricket, he joined the domestic cricket team of Pakistan in age groups. Before getting selected for the national team, Mohammad Amir used to play for Pakistan Under-19 team and has appeared in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2007. |
