Profile | Nuwan Pradeep is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer, who plays for the national cricket team of Sri Lanka since 2011. He plays for all three formats of the game and represents the Basnahira North team in domestic field. Nuwan Pradeep is a right-armed opening bowler, who bowls in fast-medium style. Surprisingly this popular bowler from Sri Lanka had never played cricket with the hardball until his 20. Despite starting his professional cricket training with a softball, his skilled aptitude of fast bowling helps him to shine in the domestic circuit perfectly. After getting attention from the selectors, he was sent to the Sri Lankan Cricket Academy to complete his bowling-training with the hardball. A complete session of 3 years with the actual cricket ball, he became an ideal fast bowler and got a chance to enter in the national squad in 2010. He made his international debut in the next following year with a test match against Pakistan. Afterward, Nuwan Pradeep made his debut in the rest two formats of the game gradually after a couple of years and became a permanent member of the team with his undeniable bowling expertise.
