Usman Tariq Khawaja is an Australian International cricketer, who plays for the all three formats of the game since 2011. Usman Khawaja represents both Australia and Queensland teams at the domestic level. He is a left-handed top-order batsman in the national team and has started his Cricket career with New South Wales Blues team in 2008. Usman Khawaja was born in 1986 in Islamabad of Pakistan but moved to Australia after a few years later. He has started his cricket career as a toddler with his undeniable batting skills and joins the U-19 Cricket World Cup from Australian side as an opening batsman.
This left-handed cricketer has got his first chance to represents the Australian national team at the international level in 2011. Injury of the former Australian captain and Top order batsman Ricky Ponting gave Usman a golden opportunity to prove that his quality belongs to international cricket.
Once he was introduced to the international field of cricket, Usman has made himself a regular member of the national team with his performances. He is also a qualified pilot, apart from being a wonderful Australian batsman. This talented 32 years old Australian batsman remained unsold in the IPL 2019 tournament but was named in the squad of ICC World Cup 2019 successfully
