Kazan: Sajan Lama of India finished 20th in Taolu Men’s Nandao event at the 14th edition of Wushu World Championship ( the 2017 edition) here at Kazan, Russia.
The South Asian Games Gold medalist, Lama, scored a very poor 9.21 points with his skills.

In Nandao a participant uses a Sword as the main element. Nandao is the southern variation of the “northern broadsword”, or Beidao. Its blade bears some resemblance to the butterfly sword, also a southern Chinese single-bladed weapon; the main difference is the size and the fact that the butterfly swords have D-shaped knuckle guards.
