Mumbai: Arjun, the son of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar once again grabbed the headlines with a magnificent five-wicket haul that helped Mumbai register a win over Railways in the U-19 Cooch Behar Trophy.
It was just three weeks ago that Arjun had impressed with his performance against Madhya Pradesh as he had taken a five-wicket haul and he later followed up that performance with a four-for against Assam.
The promising left-arm speedster had gone wicketless in the first innings as he conceded 23 runs but came back strongly in the second to take five wickets and helped his team beat Railways at the Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana in Suburban Kandivili.
His figures of 5/44 in 11 overs helped Mumbai shoot out Railways for just 136 in their second innings and win the match by 103 runs.
Earlier while batting first, Mumbai posted 389 on the board with Yashavi Bhupendet Jaiswal registering a double-hundred. A Vasishtha then returned with the ball and took eight wickets for 30 runs to bundle out Railways for just 150 runs.
Arjun dismissed the first four batsmen in the Railways batting line-up and took the ninth wicket to complete his five-wicket haul.
