Harry Kane is one of England’s own and one of Tottenham’s own. While there has been a lot of talk regarding his choice of staying with Spurs season after season, one cannot argue that he is one of England’s best, possibly the best striker they have had after Wayne Rooney.
The fact that Kane has never won any major trophy, only fuels that argument. However, the fact that he has legend status at Tottenham Hotspurs, a club that is actually beginning to look like one of Europe’s best, is a positive for the fans. Having carried England to a No.3 finish in the 2018 World Cup in Russia, Kane still has a long way to go. We take a look at the Top 5 strikes by the England captain.

Step up, Harry Kane, who took up the ball from almost the sideline, came about 10 yards in and scored from an almost impossible angle. Debates still rage about this goal, while some say it was meant to be a pass or cross, others, including Kane himself, claim it to be a shot on target.
4. Stoke City v Tottenham Hotspurs, 2015-16 Premier League
Harry Kane is pure quality and one of cleanest strikers in the Premier League. The Englishman showed his class against Stoke away with a sublime right footed effort using a defender and bending it past the post to score a marvelous goal.
The goal was built by midfielder Moussa Dembele who, after receiving a pass from Kane on the left, skipped into the Stoke City backline, dribbling and teasing before passing to a free Kane, who shifted in on his right and unleashed a dynamo goal-bound.

On what was his 100th appearance in a Spurs shirt, Kane scored a wonderful goal that also owes a lot of its credit to referee Kevin Friend. The ref had allowed play to continue after Southampton defenders had fouled two Spurs players on the counter.

2. Tottenham Hotspurs v Arsenal, 2016-17 Premier League
Nobody has scored more goals in the current crop in the North London derby than a certain Harry Kane. Kane is solely responsible for having restored parity in the London derbies over the years, having transformed Spurs to winners from being mere pushovers.
This strike is class as Spurs latch onto a pass that was almost out and then Kane makes the most of it as he drifts inside on his favored left foot and unleashes a shot from a near impossible angle. Once again, the sheer power and accuracy of the strike makes it sail over the Arsenal goalie, provoking maddening noise in the White Hart Lane.

The Toffees have had a fair share of the England captain’s heroics against them in the Premier League year after year. This one stands out as he picked out the bottom corner from almost the halfway line with a super strike that got the White Hart Lane to its feet.
