10. Len Pascoe
Former Australian Quick Bowler Len Pascoe is the fifth fastest to 50 ODI wickets. When Pascoe achieved this milestone he was playing his 25th match. The Australian would go on to play 29 ODI matches for his team to scalp 53 wickets at an average of 20.11 including 4 four-wicket hauls and a five wicket haul from ODIs.
He was playing against West Indies on January 27, 1982 at Sydney Cricket Ground in an ODI Tri-series. He would go on to take only one wicket in the match as West Indies would go on to win the match by 18 runs.
9. Barry McCarthy
Ireland Medium-pacer Barry McCarthy is the fourth fastest to 50 ODI wickets. When McCarthy achieved this milestone he was playing his 25th match.
He was playing against West Indies on May 5, 2019 at Castle Avenue, Dublin. He would go on to take two wickets in the match but his team would lose by 196 runs.

New Zealand Speedster Matt Henry is the fourth fastest to 50 ODI wickets. When Henry achieved this milestone he was playing his 25th match.
He was playing against Australia on February 8, 2016 at Seddon Park, Hamilton. Henry would go on to take three wickets in the match as New Zealand would bowl Australia out for 191 to win the match by 55 runs.
7. Shane Warne
Former Australian Leg Spinner & the most celebrated Australian Spinner Shane Warne is the fourth fastest to 50 ODI wickets. When Warne achieved this milestone he was playing his 25th match. The Australian Legend would go on to play 194 ODI matches for his team to scalp 293 wickets at an average of 25.7 including 12 four-wicket hauls and a five wicket haul from ODIs.
He was playing against Sri Lanka on September 13, 1994 at P Sara Oval, Colombo during Singer World Series. Shane would go on to take two wickets in the match but Australia would lose the rain reduced match by 6 wickets.
6. Kuldeep Yadav
Indian Left-arm Unorthodox Spinner Kuldeep Yadav is the third fastest to 50 ODI wickets. When Yadav achieved this milestone he was playing his 24th match.
He was playing against Hong Kong on September 18, 2018 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium during an Asia Cup match. Yadav would go on to take two wickets in the match as India would stop Hong Kong to 259/8 to win the match by 26 runs.

Pakistan Speedster Hasan Ali is the third fastest to 50 ODI wickets. When Ali achieved this milestone he was playing his 24th match.
He was playing against Sri Lanka on October 18, 2017 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Ali would go on to take a fifer in the match as Pakistan would bowl Sri Lanka out for 208 to win the match by 7 wickets.
4. Dennis Lillee
Former Australian Legend Dennis Lillee is the third fastest to 50 ODI wickets. When Lillee achieved this milestone he was playing his 24th match. The Great Australian would go on to play 63 ODI matches for his team to scalp 103 wickets at an average of 20.8 including 5 four-wicket hauls and a five wicket haul from ODIs.
He was playing against India on December 18, 1980 during a Benson & Hedges World Series Cup match. Lillee would go on to take two wickets in the match as Australia would stop India to 180/9 to win the match by 9 wickets.

3. Mitchell McClenaghan
New Zealand Medium Pacer Mitchell McClenaghan is the second fastest to 50 ODI wickets. When McClenaghan achieved this milestone he was playing his 23rd match. The Pace Bowler has been a key member to his team.
He was playing against South Africa on October 24, 2014. McClenaghan would go on to take two wickets in the match as Sri Lanka would limit South Africa to 282/9 only to lose the match by 72 runs.
2. Ajit Agarkar
Former Indian Speedster Ajit Agarkar is the second fastest to 50 ODI wickets. When Agarkar achieved this milestone he was playing his 23rd match. The Pace Bowler would go on to play 191 ODI matches for his team to scalp 288 wickets at an average of 27.9 including 10 four-wicket hauls and 2 five wicket hauls from ODIs.
He was playing against Zimbabwe on September 30, 1998 at Harare Sports Club in an ODI Bilateral-series. Agarkar would go on to take two wickets in the match that Zimbabwe won by 37 runs.
1. Ajantha Mendis
Former Mystery Spinner from Sri Lanka, Ajantha Mendis, is the fastest to 50 ODI wickets. When Mendis achieved this milestone he was playing his 19th match. The Spinner would go on to play 87 ODI matches for his team to scalp 152 wickets at an average of 21.9 including 7 four-wicket hauls and 3 five wicket hauls from ODIs.
He was playing against Zimbabwe on January 12, 2009 at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka in an ODI Tri-series. Mendis would go on to take three wickets in the match as Sri Lanka would bowl Zimbabwe out for paltry 80 to win by 130 runs.
