Today we bring you the footballers who hit the most goals in Euro 1980. The UEFA European Championship 1980 was the sixth edition of the European football tournament hosted by Italy during June 11- 22, 1980. Eight teams qualified for the final tournament. A total of 14 matches were played in the tournament across 4 venues, group stage round robin matches with 8 teams divided into two groups followed by tournament final and 3rd place playoff. 3. Zdeněk Nehoda
The Dukla Prague Striker was part of the Czechoslovakia team since 1971. Zdeněk Nehoda would hit 2 goals from matches he played during the tournament. With these 2 goals, this former TJ Gottwaldov Footballer, Nehoda got himself among the footballers who scored the most goals in Euro 1980. His team, Czechoslovakia, would go on to play the 3rd place playoff of UEFA Euro 1980 winning against Italy to finish third. Ladislav Jurkemik, Antonín Panenka & Ladislav Vízek were the other goal-scorers for Czechoslovakia.
2. Horst Hrubesch
The Hamburger SV Footballer was part of the West Germany team since 1980. Horst Hrubesch would hit 2 goals from matches he played during the tournament. With these 2 goals, this former Rot-Weiss Essen Footballer, Hrubesch got himself among the footballers who scored the most goals in Euro 1980. His team, West Germany, would go on to play the UEFA Euro 1980 final at Stadio Olimpico, Rome against Belgium as they would win their second title defeating Belgium 2-1. Hrubesch scored a brace in the tournament final.

The Fortuna Düsseldorf Footballer was part of the West Germany team in UEFA Euro 1980, was a part of the team since 1978. Klaus Allofs would hit 3 goals from the matches he played during the tournament. With these 3 goals, this Düsseldorf born Footballer got himself to lead the footballers with the most goals in Euro 1980. His team, riding on his performance and other goal-scorers like Hrubesch, & Karl-Heinz Rummenigge would go on to win their second UEFA Euro tournament, defeating Belgium in the final. Among the prolific goals corers for club and country, Allofs had won the DFB-Pokal in the season 1978–79 & 1979–80, also the Bundesliga top scorer in 1978–79.
