The Bernabéu based side would win the La Liga tournament edition, winning 22, losing 4 & drawing 12 matches.
4. Darko Kovačević (Real Sociedad)
Former Red Star Belgrade Footballer Darko Kovačević would go on to score 20 goals for Real Sociedad during the 2002-03 tournament. With these goals, the Serbia and Montenegro Footballer got himself among the footballers with the most goals in La Liga 2002-03. His team would finish second in the team table of the tournament.
3. Nihat Kahveci (Real Sociedad)
Former Beşiktaş Footballer Nihat Kahveci would go on to score 23 goals for Real Sociedad during the 2002-03 tournament. With these goals, the Turkish Footballer got himself among the footballers with the most goals in La Liga 2002-03. His team would finish runners up in the team table of the tournament edition winning 22, losing 6 & drawing 10 matches of the tournament as they’d also qualify for the Champions League group stage.

The Bernabéu based side would win the tournament edition and qualify for the Champions League group stage. Real Madrid would concede 42 goals in the tournament. Ronaldo would score a hat-trick during the tournament, in a 5-1 win against Deportivo Alavés.
1. Roy Makaay (Deportivo La Coruña)
Former Tenerife Footballer Rudolphus Antonius Makaay scored 29 goals for his team during the 2002-03 tournament. With these goals, the Netherlands Footballer got himself among the footballers with the most goals in La Liga 2002-03, in fact leading the list. The Estadio Municipal de Riazor based side would finish third in the tournament edition, winning 22, losing 10 & drawing 6 from their 38 matches as they’d qualify for the Champions League third qualifying round. Deportivo would concede 47 goals, while they’d score 67 in the tournament edition. Makaay would score a hat-trick during the tournament, in a 5-0 win against Recreativo.
