Profile | Ben Stokes is an English International cricketer, who plays for the England national cricket team since 2011. Ben Stokes is the former captain of England test cricket team and plays for the Durham squad at the domestic level. He is an all-rounder, who bats with left-handed attacking mode and bowls in right-arm fast-medium style. He was born in New Zealand but later moved to England at a very young age, due to the transfer of his father’s coaching job. He started his cricket career professionally after moving England and achieving the Cricket League Premier Division for North Lancashire & Cumbria in 2006. This charismatic all-rounder began his domestic career with Durham squad and made his one-day debut for the same team in2009. After appearing in Under-19 World Cup along with a few noted domestic tournaments, he made his international debut in 2011. His undeniable playing skill like high speeding bowling capacity, smacking batting ability, has repaid him with the international selection. He made his first international debut through an ODI match against Ireland and left his impact powerfully to become a permanent member of the team. Despite getting involved in some police case controversy, he successfully named himself in the England squad for 2019 World Cup.
