Profile | Bianca Andreescu is a Canadian professional tennis player. She is a teenage tennis protégée who has put Canada on the tennis map in 2019 by winning the US Open. Andreescu had shown glimpses of her raw talent in 2018 but feel to health issue which impacted her performance in most of 2018. She came back strongly in 2019 by winning the Indian Wells Masters and becoming the 1st Wild Card in the Indian Wells history to win the tournament. Injuries stuck again and Andreescu was forced to miss much of the clay and grass court matches. She came back strongly at the US Hard Court swing by winning the Canadian Open and the US Open titles.
