Profile | Carlos Brathwaite is a Barbadian cricketer, who plays from the national side of West Indies since 2011. He has appeared in all formats of the game at the beginning of his international career. However, Carlos currently plays for shorter formats of the game and represents West Indies in limited over matches only. Carlos Brathwaite captains the national West Indies team in T20I format and represents Barbados squad at domestic level. Barbadian player Carlos played numbers of tournaments in domestic circuit for regional teams, first-class team, under-19 team, and List-A team. Besides the international career, he continues his domestic career with the same importance, even after the national selection. His glorious domestic career soon led him towards the national team of West Indies in 2011. Carlos made his international debut in limited over formats in one single year, but he had to wait for four more years to step into the format of tests. He made his test debut in 2015 against Australia, but restricted himself from that meadow within one year, after a couple of unsuccessful matches. Carlos Brathwaite is a bowling all-rounder, who bowls in right-armed fast-medium style and occasionally bats as a right-handed middle-order batsman. Apart from international career, Carlos has a glorious career graph in T20 and IPL franchise too. He was named in the squad of West Indies for 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup.
