Profile | Dane Paterson is a South African cricketer, who plays for the shorter formats of cricket and has been playing for the national team since 2017. Paterson is a right-arm bowler, who bowls in the fast-medium pattern. Dane Paterson was born on 4th April in 1989 in Cape Town and has started playing cricket in his teenage. Initially, he was playing for the Western Province Under-19 Cricket Team in domestic level since 2009 and later played for the Africa T20 Cup 2015. After this, Paterson represented the Cape Cobras squad as well in 2018 Africa T20 Cup and became the the highest wicket-taker bowler of the tournament. Dane Paterson took seven wickets from the entire tournament of four matches and that made his domestic career shining more than ever. After making his international debut in a T20I match in 2017, he got back to the domestic level again in the Mzansi Super League T20 tournament in 2018. Dane Paterson hasn’t played test or IPL debut till date but gave enough reason to praise his bowling statistics with his domestic level records for sure.
