Glenn Maxwell is an Australian international cricketer, who used to play for all three formats of the game at the beginning of his career. He is an all-rounder and currently playing for ODI and T20I formats of the game. Glenn represents Victoria and Melbourne Stars squads at domestic level. He is a right-handed middle-order batsman and right-arm off-break bowler, who plays for the national team since 2012.
Glenn is known for his swashbuckling shot-making and unique improvisation in short formats of the game. At the initial stage, Glenn introduced himself as a pacer, but later on, became an off-spinner.
Maxwell’s unorthodoxy is beyond describing and his great fielding has made him a crucial part of the team.
He holds several records in world cricket at par with the immense talent he possesses and got himself named for the ICC World Cup 2019 Australian squad successfully. He made his IPL debut in 2010 and continued it till 2018, but currently not playing in IPL 2019 tournament.
