Profile | Jofra Archer is an English cricketer, who plays from the national side of England currently from 2019. He appears in shorter formats of the game in limited over matches and represents Sussex County Cricket Club in county circuit. He used to play for Barbados in domestic cricket and has played for West Indies Under-19 team at the beginning of his career as well. At the primary stage of his professional cricket career, Jofra Archer wasn’t eligible to play for England. He has an English father but British passport, which is not applicable with the England and Wales Cricket Board rules for an English player. However, depending on the recent variation of ICC regulation, the restriction has moved from Jofra Archer, and he happily joins the clan of the national cricket team of England from this running year. Jofra is an aggressive fast bowler, who can handle willow as an axe, and throws the ball with fiery spells in the rapidest pacing style. He hasn’t made his test debut and appears only in one single T20I match so far, yet made his place quite permanent in limited over games. According to the final selection of the team of England for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, he was enlisted as the fifteenth man in the squad.
