What You Need to Know About the T20 Vitality Blast 2021 and This Year’s Fixtures

Aside from the Cricket World Cup and the Indian Premier League, Vitality Blast is one of the most awaited cricket tournaments out there. The next season of this tournament is scheduled to start on June 9 and last until September 18 of this year.

Recently, the IPL has already been suspended due to the rising COVID 19 cases in India. With that, many are wondering whether other cricket tournaments will be affected as well. About the 2021 T20 Vitality Blast

This tournament will be returning this year with a 14-match group stage format. There will be a total of 18 First-Class Counties that will be participating and they will be divided into two groups: The North and South Groups.

For this season, each team will be playing seven matches at a home field and another seven at an away field. The top four countries in each group will be the ones who will proceed to the quarter-finals. When it comes to the quarter-finals, the top team in the North group will be the one to host the fourth-ranked team from the South Group. Whoever will be in the top four teams from both groups will proceed to the Finals which will be held in Edgbaston on September 18
