Sensational Indian Medium pacer, Rex Singh scalped four as India under-19s complete an emphatic innings and 158-run victory over the Coca-Cola South Africa U19s in Trivandrum on Thursday. Anshul Kamboj took three to help the hosts secure a two-nil series win.
Singh walked away with figures of 4/18 in his 9.4 overs, while Kamboj had a return of 3/20 to bowl out the visitors for 85 in 45.4 overs in the first session of Day Three.

Captain Matthew Montgomery and Andile Mogakane began the day at the crease, South Africa facing an uphill battle to stay in the contest following two centuries from India’s Yashasvi Jaiswal (173) and Vaibhav Kandpal (122).
Starting the day still trailing by 193 runs, the pair’s stint in the middle was short-lived. Mogakane and Montgomery were both caught behind for 15 and 36 respectively, leaving the tourists 70/4 after 30.2 overs.

Bryce Parsons (6) succumed to the right-arm spinner, Manishi (2/30) before Kamboj added his third wicket of the morning after enticing Bonga Makaka (14) into an aggressive shot, which was well-caught by the fielder on the boundary.
Hrithik Shokeen then joined his teammates in celebration, trapping Nonelela Yikha LBW for three to leave the SA U19s reeling on 81/7.

It was then the diminutive left-arm seamer, Singh who wrapped up the remaining three wickets. He picked up the scalps of Luke Beaufort (1) and Siya Plaatjie (0) before sealing the convincing triumph for his side by removing Lifa Ntanzi for four.
Jaiswal was awarded the Man of the Match for his superb first innings knock, while his teammate Hrithik Shokeen was named the Player of the Series for his ten wickets in the two matches.
