5. Australia (376 vs Sri Lanka)

The West Indies were given a flying start by Chris Gayle who made 61 from 33 balls. As a result, the whole Caribbean team was all-out for 250 runs in just 33 overs. From the Kiwi bowling attack, their strike pacer Trent Boult took 4 wickets as his side won the match by 143 runs. 2. South Africa (411 vs Ireland)

The South African and Irish sides faced each other at Canberra in one of the league matches. The Proteas took to bat first and put a massive score of 411 runs on the board. Their star opener Hashim Amla scored 159 runs along with another important knock of 109 by Faf du Plessis. The two players had a great partnership of 247 runs for the 2nd wicket thus taking their side to a great position. In the closing overs, Rilee Rossouw played hit a quickfire 61 runs from just 30 overs.

The Ireland team were all out on 210 runs in their innings. Andy Balbirnie was the top scorer with a knock of 58. In return, the inexperienced Afghan batters were dismissed on a low score of just 142 runs. They lasted for just 37 overs with no batsman able to reach a score of 50 runs.
