The Corona-virus pandemic has put tennis matches to a stop and restricted players to their homes. These famous stars are now connecting on digital platforms. They are also making strategies to help low ranked players through ATP funds and raise money for the areas and people severely affected by this crisis. We bring you some exciting Instagram live of tennis, chat between famous tennis stars on the tour.
Instagram Live of Tennis: The Roger- Rafa Fun
The two most famous and admired male tennis players Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal met this time away from the tennis court. In a short but sweet Instagram conversation the two legends discussed a variety of topics. They mostly talked about informal stuff about how each of them was dealing with the Corona-virus lockdown. The mutual respect between Roger and Rafa was however very much evident. Federer and Nadal talked about their families, the time away from tennis, and also Rafa’s tennis academy in Mallorca.

Nadal was also eager to know about his great rival’s recent knee surgery and rehabilitation. There were also some great moments for fans to cheer when the two legends shared about their growing up and training to become a pro tennis player. Roger particularly showed a keen interest in knowing about his Spanish rival’s transition to playing with the left hand as Rafa is a natural right-hander. The conversation was the icing on the cake for tennis fans that have been badly missing their favorite players on the court.
The Murray Djokovic Perfect Player Discussion
Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray are the other members of the BIG 4 group that dominated tennis for more than a decade and a half. The two on-court rivals who are also off-court friends tried to build a perfect tennis player based on combining shots and mentality. Both the legends chose John Isner of America for the perfect serve, to be closely followed by Australia’s Nick Kyrgios. For the return Novak chose Andy and Murray on his part chose Djokovic as the best returner.

For the forehand it was Del Potro for Djokovic and Rafa Nadal for Murray. Both the champions agreed to choose their great rival Roger Federer for the volley. As for the strongest player in terms of mentality, they again agreed on another great rival Rafa Nadal. Murray regarded Djokovic as a perfect tennis player in terms of physicality. The Serbian superstar however was split between Austria’s Dominic Thiem and David Ferrer of Spain. The build-up to the perfect tennis player seemed interesting.

There was also another interesting Instagram chat between long-time rivals Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray. The Brit who is nursing constant injuries has been busy with rehabilitation and is aiming a comeback. Andy and Rafa also discussed the academy and chatted about the virtual Mutua Madrid Open which was conducted this year. Murray would be hoping to register a Nadal like comeback after the tennis suspension from Corona-virus comes to an end.
There was also a very humorous conversation between Novak Djokovic and Stan Wawrinka of Switzerland. The two powerful baseline stars have played many great and intense matches against each other. They discussed their epic contests at the Australian Open and Roland Garros. The two greats also discussed how challenging it was to have injuries and then make a comeback to the tour. Novak was bothered by the elbow injury in 2017. Stan has been nursing the back injury since 2018.

There was also another hilarious conversation between Andy Murray and Nick Kyrgios of Australia. The youngster who appeared sipping some red wine along the chat showed his appreciation and respect for Murray. He also talked about what it was to play the BIG 4 while throwing some pot-shots at familiar foe Rafa Nadal. Kyrgios has earlier proposed Rafa to do an Instagram chat but the Spanish great respectfully declined. He said that the youngster would be better doing the chat with someone of his age and generation.
Finally to end it all we also had humor driven chat between Maria Sharapova of Russia and current ATP world number 1 Novak Djokovic. The two talked about the previous ads that they shot together and some off the court spicy stuff. Sharapova has recently retired from the game in February 2020. In the days when fans miss tennis matches badly, it was very exciting to watch them share things on video chats. All of them wished the tour to resume soon after the Corona-virus pandemic ends.
