His strike rate was decimals over 54.4 and his best innings figures was 5/84, while match figures would be 8/254 from the season, as he took a 5 wicket haul in the season. 1. Brett Lee
The Australian Express Pace bowler picked 24 wickets from 8 innings of 4 test matches he played at an average of 22.58 in the seventh edition of Border Gavaskar Trophy. Brett Lee’s strike rate was 46.7 and his best innings figures was 5/119, while match figures would be 7/153 from season. With these bowling statistics, Brett Lee featured in the list of Cricketers with the most wickets in Border Gavaskar Trophy 2007-08. Australia, without the services of Glenn McGrath, who retired in 2007.
