Profile | Aaron Finch is an Australian International cricketer, who plays for the Australian national team since 2009. Finch plays in all formats of the game and captains the Australian cricket team in limited overs cricket as well. This right-handed batsman has had a glorious record in shorter formats. In the initial stage of his career, Flinch used to play with the Colac West Cricket Club and Colac & District Cricket Association in domestic level. He was a junior player in the team and occasionally used to keep the wickets as well. Flinch shone for the first time in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2006 and came into the eyes of the selector for his glorious innings. Some years later he made his T20I and ODI debut respectively in 2011 and 2013. He started his career as a middle-order batsman but pulls himself swiftly in the top order through his impactful power-hitting style. He started his IPL career with Rajasthan Royals in 2010 and continued till 2018 with other 6 top IPL teams. However, he has decided to stay out of the IPL 2019 to prepare himself for the ICC World Cup 2019. |
