The left handed wicket keeper batter Mathurage Don Kusal Janith Perera was part of the Sri Lankan team in 2013 and he scored 301 runs from 9 innings of the 9 matches he played in the year at an average of 33 and a strike rate of 128. His scores included 3 fifties; Perera’s 84 was his best score of the year in the 20 overs international cricket. With these runs, Kusal Perera made to the top 5 list for the most T20I runs in 2013 as he became the highest run- scoring batter for Sri Lanka as well.

2. Mohammad Hafeez (Pakistan)
The top order batter, Mohammad Hafeez, was part of the Pakistan team in T20Is in 2013. Hafeez would go on to score 323 runs from 12 innings of the 12 matches he played in the year at an average of 35 and a strike rate of almost 133. His scores included 3 fifties; Hafeez’s 86 was his best score of the year in the 20 overs international cricket. With these runs, Mohammad Hafeez made to the top 5 list for the most T20I runs in 2013.

1. Ahmed Shehzad (Pakistan)
The right hand batter, Ahmed Shehzad, was part of the Pakistan team in T20Is in 2013. Shehzad would go on to score 347 runs from 12 innings of the 12 matches he played in the year at an average of 31+ and a strike rate touch above 120. His scores included 2 fifties; Ahmed’s 98 not out was his best score of the year in the 20 overs version of limited overs cricket. With these runs, Ahmed Shehzad made to the top 5 list for the most T20I runs in 2013 as he became the highest run- scoring batter for Pakistan as well.
