1. Lendl Simmons (West Indies)
The right-handed batter, Lendl Mark Platter Simmons, was part of the West Indies team in T20Is in 2014. Simmons would go on to score 273 runs from 14 innings of the 15 matches he played in the year at an average little below 20 and a strike rate little of 105. His scores included a fifty; Lendl’s 75 was his best score of the year in the 20 overs international cricket. 4. Anamul Haque (Bangladesh)
The right hand batter, Mohammad Anamul Haque Bijoy, was part of the Bangladesh team in T20Is in 2014. Haque would go on to score 285 runs from 10 innings of the 10 matches he played in the year at an average of 35+ and a strike rate of 120. His scores included a fifty; Anamul’s 58 was his best score of the year in the 20 overs version of limited overs cricket. With these runs, Anamul Haque made to the top 5 list for the most T20I runs in 2014 as he became the highest run- scoring batter for Bangladesh.

3. Virat Kohli (India)
The right handed batter Indian Batter Virat Kohli scored 385 runs from 7 innings of the 7 matches he played in the year at an average of 96 and a strike rate of 133. His scores included 5 fifties; Kohli’s 77 was his best score of the year in the 20 overs international cricket. With these runs, Virat Kohli made to the top 5 list for the most T20I runs in 2014 as he became the highest run- scoring batter for India as well.

2. Aaron Finch (Australia)
The right handed opener, Aaron James Finch, was part of the Australian team in T20Is in 2014. Finch would go on to score 390 runs from 13 innings of the 13 matches he played in the year at an average of 32+ and strike rate of 134+. His scores included 3 fifties; Aaron’s 71 would be his best score of the year in the 20 overs international cricket. With these runs, Aaron Finch made to the top 5 list for the most T20I runs in 2014 as he became the highest run- scoring batter for Australia.

1. Alex Hales (England)
The right handed batter, Alexander Daniel Hales, was part of the England team in T20Is in 2014. Hales would go on to score 397 runs from 12 innings of the 12 matches he played in the year at an average of 35 plus and strike rate above 140. His scores included a fifty & a hundred; Hales‘ 116 not out as his best score of the year in the 20 overs international cricket. With these runs, Alex Hales made to the top 5 list for the most T20I runs in 2014 and became the highest scoring batter for England.
